Description
Worship Leading Plan and lead worship for a minimum of 60% of weekly Sunday services.
Lead the congregation in Christ-focused, participatory worship.
Coordinate service order with pastors and ministry leaders.
Worship Planning Work closely with the Lead Pastor to ensure song choice and worship style aligns with church vision and direction.
Collaborate with pastoral staff on service planning.
Prepare song arrangements, music sheets, and rehearsal materials.
Ensure all worship elements support the overall message and purpose of each service.
Team Development Model a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Pray regularly for the worship ministry and congregation.
Recruit, oversee, and develop worship ministry volunteers including worship leaders, vocalists, instrumentalists, and media team volunteers (Sound, Slides, Video).
Plan, schedule, and oversee the scheduling process of volunteers for music and media for all services.
Foster a positive, encouraging, and spiritually healthy team culture.
Lead weekly rehearsals that are well-organized.
Communicate schedules, rehearsal plans, and ministry updates effectively.
Technical Oversight Ensure worship technology and equipment is maintained and functioning properly.
Coordinate maintenance and upgrades of worship equipment within approved budgets.
Work alongside technical ministry leaders to improve production quality.
Requirements
Required A committed follower of Jesus Christ who demonstrates spiritual maturity and integrity.
Agreement with the church's statement of faith.
Experience leading worship in a church setting.
Strong vocal ability and proficiency on at least one accompanying instrument.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to lead and develop volunteers.
Preferred Formal theological or music education.
Experience leading multi-generational worship.
Experience leading teams.
Proficiency with Planning Center, Pro Presenter, and livestream and audio technology.
