Job Title: Senior Finance Policy & Process Consultant

What you will be doing:Process Mapping & SOP Creation: Conduct interviews with finance team members to understand current daily workflows (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Cash/Bank, Revenue) and draft comprehensive, step‑by‑step SOPs.
Policy Development: Draft and implement overarching corporate finance policies (e.g., Capitalization, Petty Cash, Credit Card, and Bank Reconciliation policies) ensuring they align seamlessly with the new SOPs.
Intercompany Agreements: Translate legal frameworks across four distinct legal entities into clear operational, transactional, and accounting procedures.
System Alignment: Collaborate with the internal Systems Analyst to ensure all new procedural documentation links accurately to existing NetSuite system documentation.
Future Project Management: Transition into leading ongoing finance process improvements and system integration projects once the baseline documentation is complete.
Experience Level: Senior Accountant, Finance Manager, or Senior Business Analyst level with a strong foundation in internal controls and accounting.
Documentation Expertise: Proven track record of independently writing corporate‑grade finance policies, procedures, and internal control documentation.
System Knowledge: Familiarity with NetSuite is highly preferred to understand system logic, though deep technical configuration is not required.
Work Style: Highly organized, self‑directed, and able to deliver results with minimal hands‑on guidance from the executive team.
Cultural Fit: Must be comfortable commuting to and working in the Downtown Eastside neighborhood. Must also be highly respectful of the organization’s Christian, faith‑based values and inclusive team culture.
Salary/Rate Range: $50.00 - $70/hour
