Company Overview

Trinity Baptist Church, located on the corner of 49th Avenue and Granville Street in Vancouver, BC, Canada, offers a multicultural ministry. Over 30 different nations are represented among the current members. The three largest cultural groups are: Canadian and European ancestry, Chinese ancestry and Filipino ancestry.

Sunday morning attendance is around 320. The 9:30 am service is a English/Mandarin bilingual service with about 120 attending. The 11:00 am is English only with about 200+ people. The worship services are led by a worship team. It includes a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary worship songs. We call our style “blended”. We also have five choirs and two handbell groups.

Some outreach ministries of the church include: a Daycare ministry, English as a Second Language School (ESL), a multicultural Youth group, a Filipino Fellowship, a Chinese Fellowship, a Music Academy, just to mention a few. Our ESL runs for three terms per year with an average of 200+ students per term including many un-churched Chinese. Many are recent arrivals from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Trinity is seeking, by the grace of God, to be a New Testament church that breaks down language barriers and promotes cultural understanding between believers. Our vision statement is: Trinity Baptist Church exists by the grace of God to glorify Him and to serve the diverse people of our community and beyond. We will challenge them with the love of Jesus Christ and encourage growth in discipleship through worship that glorifies and inspires, proclamation that changes lives and service that meets needs.
