Company Overview
Scarborough Chinese Baptist Church is a church that is centered upon Christ and based on the Holy Scripture, striving to build up disciples of Jesus into a community of God that is diverse in composition, yet united in purpose. We desire our ministry to be flexible, adaptive and relevant to the need of a fast-changing society, serving a congregation that is multi-lingual, multi-cultural and multi-generational, for enduring impact on individuals, our city and the world.
We have 3 congregational groups (English-speaking, Cantonese-speaking, Mandarin-speaking) within our church family. Each of these groups has a dedicated ministry team, with each team overseeing the four ministry areas of Worship, Nurture, Body-life and Outreach.
Company History
Scarborough Chinese Baptist Church originally located at the corner of Birchmount and Huntingwood in Scarborough was planted by the Toronto Chinese Baptist Church. We moved into our current site on Kennedy Road in 2007.
