Company Overview
Mountain View Community Church is a vibrant and growing church located in the north Fraser Valley. We are a unique blend of congregational ministry and social ministry and through The Caring Place Ministries we operate an Emergency Shelter, Transitional Housing and a community meal program.
Our church is informal and contemporary and we belived in relationships and not religion. Although we have a chapel service on Sundays, our focus is on our House Church Ministries.
Company History
Mountain View Community Church was planted in 1990 by Judy & Russ Holland. The congregation quickly grew and as time moved on the church began to change its focus to social ministry. After the purchase of a permanent facility through a grant from the federal government, a vibrant social ministry to the homeless was started.
The senior pastors, Majors Ed & Kathie Chiu, were appointed here in 1997 and are going into their 12th year of ministry here.
